The Internal Medicine Specialty Residency offers diverse opportunities for the resident to concentrate on expanding (broadening) their clinical skills and knowledge base in the area of internal medicine. The university-based environment coupled with a diverse patient population and the expertise of a large clinical pharmacy staff provide ample learning experiences to develop into a successful independent practitioner. It also imparts an appreciation for the role of the clinical pharmacist specialist in internal medicine.
