Community Events & Health Fairs

Requests from the public for Grady Health System to participate in any community events or health fairs will be directed to Public Affairs. The requesting party will be asked to fill out a community event/health fair request form. After evaluation, Public Affairs will notify the requesting party as to whether or not Grady can fulfill the request*.

Guidelines:

  1. Community Event/Health Fair requests from community organizations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis to be approved by Public Affairs.
  2. All requests must be received a minimum of 3 weeks from the event date.
  3. Specific requests for services/activities and the targeted audience should align with outreach objectives and services provided by Grady Health System.
  4. Grady will develop and provide a cost estimate for the services requested. Requests should include whether financial assistance is needed to provide the requested services. There is a limited amount of grant funding available to support community events and health fairs.
  5. Public Affairs will determine if Grady Health System personnel and resources are available to comply with the request. If financial assistance is requested but unavailable, requestor will be expected to pay the full cost of services prior to the event, unless other arrangements are made.
